Can sensors diagnose cancer?

The next big thing in sensor technology is going to be the diagnosis of cancer. Sensors are being developed for molecular biomarkers, VOC biomarkers, circulating DNA; liquid biopsies, machine learning and DNA sequencing are all being employed in the early stage diagnosis of cancer. The Sensors for Cancer Diagnosis conference on 22-23 May will explore these and other technologies.

Sensors for Cancer Diagnosis

A two day conference on 22-23 May 2017 at the Royal College of Obstricians and Gynaecologists in London will explore the progress being made in developing sensors for the diagnosis of cancer.

Leading experts will discuss molecular and VOC sensors, liquid biopsies and circulating DNA as tools in the early stage diagnosis of cancer.  The conference will provide a backgound on current thinking on the early diagnosis of cancer, and the hurdles to be overcome before new technology can be adopted.  The full Program and invited Speakers can be viewed on the Conference website.

A 20% discount on registration fees applies up to 12 May.  The conference is part of series of sensor application conferences organised by Sensor100, the international network of organisations and people active in the development and  commercialisation of biosensors.
