Career Ready is actively seeking STEM organisations to support work place visits for the next talent pipeline.

Career Ready is a UK charity that supports young people age 16-19 into higher level careers.

Across Cambridge, Career Ready is supporting sixth form and college students who are all interested in STEM subjects to progress onto the next level.

All students take part in a series of employer-led engagements, a majority of which take place away from school in a real working environment.

Career Ready and its associated sixth forms and colleges are now seeking local STEM employers to host workplace visits for up to 30 Cambridge students at a time.

Workplace visits are a brilliant way for you to showcase your organisation, and inspire those that visit to consider the careers you have on offer. Students are keen to develop their skills and to learn what an ideal candidate for your organisation looks like.

Visits typically last around four to five hours and will ideally provide an opportunity to meet employees from across an organisation.

If you think you could support such a visit, and you would like to inspire the next generation into a STEM career, please contact the Cambridge Regional Manager for further information.
