Choir supports charity’s festive festival

Popular local group Sing! Choirs has pledged support for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices’ (EACH) new festive campaign by signing up to perform at a special concert.

The Light Up EACH Life Christmas Concert with Sing! Choirs will take place on Saturday 8th December at St Andrew’s Baptist Church starting at 6pm.

The festive evening will see the choir, which has 60 members drawn from across Ely, Cambridge and Newmarket, perform a medley of uplifting Christmas songs in celebration of the children and families EACH cares for.

The concert will form part of the charity’s recently launched Light up EACH Life campaign – which will be a celebration of the life of every child and family the charity currently cares for and has cared for in the past. Light Up EACH Life will run from 1st to 9th December with a range of ways that people can show their support.

Members from the group recently visited EACH at Milton to see the hospice and the care the charity provides.

Sing! Choirs Musical Director, Kathryn Rowland: "We are delighted to be asked to perform and help EACH with their amazing campaign Light Up EACH Life. Sing! Choirs are excited to be able to perform for you a great range of songs including lots of Christmas festive cheer!

“Our choirs are a real mix of people, from all walks of life, who come together with a common purpose to Sing! and put on amazing events, and we look forward to sharing this one with you.  For more information about Sing! Choirs for agreeing perform at our Light Up EACH Life Christmas Concert. I know their performance will be amazing so please do come along, enjoy a festive evening and help raise money to provide care to local children with life-threatening conditions. The services we provide are a lifeline to families – especially at Christmas - we can’t continue to provide this vital support without your help.
