Deloitte opens new Cambridge office
Deloitte, the business advisory firm, has moved to a new office at One Station Square, Cambridge.
Deloitte has taken 19,300 sq ft at the brand new One Station Square building, accommodating 250 of the firm’s people based in Cambridge. The new accommodation offers a world-class and very agile working environment, open layout, optimal light and excellent accessibility.
Paul Schofield, Deloitte Cambridge office senior partner, said:“It’s my pleasure to open our new office which represents a significant investment in our East Anglian operations. The new office environment enables us to provide opportunities for our people and clients to meet in a professional yet collaborative environment.”
Opening the new office on Tuesday 11 July, Nick Owen, chairman of Deloitte North West Europe, added: “Flexible working, commuting and mobility of staff are all very important to us. A great deal of attention has been given to the well-being of our people in designing our new office. Therefore the open, bright spaces and the use of modern materials enables clients and Deloitte’s people to work collaboratively. This twinned with the excellent location in the City’s upgraded station quarter makes it an office fit for supporting clients for many years to come.”
The Deloitte Cambridge office comprises 6 Partners and over 240 staff who deliver a full range of professional services to the East Anglian region. As well as focussing on the life sciences and technology sectors for which the region has become so renowned, the office has long standing specialisms in other sectors including the professions, consumer business and agriculture.
