A new programme to place University of Cambridge students in local entrepreneurial businesses is being launched.
'Experience entrepreneurship' student placement programme
In response to requests from students and the local business community, the scheme has been designed to provide students with the opportunity to work in start-up businesses in the Cambridge area during the vacation periods.
For businesses or students interested in participating in this programme, please register online at http://www.cue.org.uk/exp.nsf before 23rd February 2000.
As numbers for this pilot year are strictly limited, placements will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to an appropriate placement / student being available.
This programme is being run by St. John's Innovation Centre with support from LloydsTSB, DTI, National Centre for Work Experience, Cambridge University Careers Service and Cambridge University Entrepreneurs.
