Subtly-signed off the busy central market square, 12a Club is a private members’ club offering friendly, knowledgeable, attentive service in very elegant and relaxed surroundings. The whole ambience is that of the prohibition era speakeasy – you feel transported from the real world outside in to a relaxed but exclusive setting (just think Gatsby!).

The main lounge and bar area are decorated 20s style with large leather booths beckoning you invitingly. The bar itself is immense and the cellar incredibly well-stocked.
Staircases lead off the main bar to the Red Room (small and intimate and perfect for an important meeting or a quiet drink with old friends) and the Purple Room (larger and fully-equipped with audio visual kits for presentations, training sessions or workshops).

With the added bonus of wi-fi, daily papers and great coffee, the Club is a very special ‘office away from the office.’

It’s not all about work though. Its central location makes it a great place to rest during a major (indie) shopping-spree, with food to keep you fully-charged in the form of the best cheeses and charcuterie, antipasti and nibbles and hand-prepared canapés. 12a Club is also a sought-after venue for events from wine tastings to jazz evenings and cocktail workshops to fashion shows.
