Free taster days: 'Developing managers at the frontline'
The Lord Ashcroft International Business School at Anglia Ruskin University offers a suite of management development orientated short courses that provides individuals and organisations the opportunity to reflect upon key themes and issues that are impacting organisations and business. If you're not interested in a full course, why not come for a taster?
The school's key resource of senior business managers and academic experts combine to offer new insights and understanding on topical themes and issues that will help participants re-frame their own thinking and identify opportunities for how they might innovate their own management practice.
Developing Managers at the Frontline
Developing Managers on the Frontline is an innovative and practical programme aimed at individuals who are in, or about to take on, their first management role. The programme of six half day courses will provide new managers with a more holistic view of the role of management and its impact on business operations, client relationships and the organisation’s people. The programme will also provide businesses with the opportunity to develop well rounded and informed managers with the capability to think ‘big picture’ in regard to business management for improved responsivenessand problem resolution.
To pilot the programme, the Lord Ashcroft International Business School is holding two taster days.
The purpose of the taster days is twofold – to find out more about the new programme and walk away with two or three valuable ideas or tools that managers can put into practice immediately, and to provide the school with feedback on how helpful the sessions were, and suggestions for improvement for the future.
