Next month (April 21st 2015) Google will launch its updated algorithm for ranking websites. How will this affect your website stats? Get your site mobile and app optimised.

The main impact of Google's updated algorithm is that mobile factors and app indexing will affect your site's ranking. Google's mobile ranking algorithm will  include mobile-friendly usability, so if your site is not mobile friendly or you generate traffic through your mobile site you may be negatively impacted.

Google’s mobile ranking factors will label your site as "mobile-friendly" if your site passes; it will also use that to determine if your site should rank higher in the search results - and that can mean better results for you. This algorithmic change will have a “significant impact” in the mobile search results, impacting all languages worldwide, according to the statement by Google.

The use of mobile devices to search Internet content is growing daily. Ensure your site is mobile friendly and responsive.
