HR workers given electronic lifeline over legislation

14-02-2001

Business lawyers Eversheds are throwing an electronic lifeline to human resources departments drowning in the flood of new legislation.

The firm's e-briefing service uses the internet to keep businesses up-to-date with employment law and the latest decisions of courts and tribunals.

Catherine Clarke, Evershed's East of England employment lawyer, said: 'With the number of changes taking place it is understandably difficult for human resources professionals to keep up to date, even those working in large departments.'
