Imray launches crowdfunding campaign

Imray is excited to announce a new crowdfunding campaign that aims to accelerate its digital solution Explore with Imray and get quality, verified data into the hands of sailors.

Explore with Imray

Imray has a long reputation for providing bespoke and tailored data, in the form of nautical charts and pilot books for the sailing community, and customers have been asking for this in a more advanced digital format. In partnership with Cambridge-based Eastpoint Software, Imray has launched Explore with Imray.

Lucy Wilson, Managing Director, “We are thrilled to be launching Explore with Imray that combines the advances of technology and our detailed navigation information. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and we know they want our detailed pilot information digitally and the chance to interact with others and share their stories on a social platform.

"There is still strong demand for our charts and books but customers want to compliment that with digital.”

Imray gathers information from verified data sources, authors, cruising clubs and direct from customers to bring together the leading charts and pilot books for sailors. This new way to see data online makes it even easier to access this valuable information and at the same time brings the Imray community even closer together.

Up until now Imray and Eastpoint Software have invested heavily in Explore with Imray, but crowdfunding gives the business the chance to accelerate that at greater speed and get customers involved. There are a number of benefits to those who get involved, including 50% off cruising information for life* and the chance to give feedback on how the tool is developed.
