KEEP+ grants available to SMEs developing new products and services

KEEP+ has ERDF match funding available to SMEs for knowledge exchange, internships and now standalone high/low value grants for equipment and 3rd party consultancy services.

If you are an innovative SME in need of specialist expertise or equipment to develop your new product/service, KEEP+ has a range of grants on offer to help get your project commercialised.

Depending on your expertise requirements, you could be eligible for funding to form an academic collaboration, internships, or apply for a standalone grant to buy specialist kit or procure a 3rd party consultant. The business needs to meet EU SME eligibility criteria and have a primarily B2B trade - full details are on the website.

Equipment and consultancy grants are available at a 40% intervention rate for purchases up to £24,999 or 30% for purchases up to £199,999. This equates to a maximum grant of £9,999 and £59,500 respectively. The funded activity must significantly contribute to the development of a new product or service within the business. Standard capital purchases such as software, furniture, vehicles etc is not eligible. Knowledge exchange collaborations and internships are funded at 50% ERDF funding cannot cover VAT on purchases or services.
