For this reason, the Open Innovation Department of L’Oréal R&I is working with them to post cosmetic challenges on their platform. After three initial challenges posted in the field of hair research, the one launching on the 26th April will be in the area of make-up.
The make-up challenge is entitled: TRANSFORMATIVE MAKE UP EXPERIENCE AT HOME, in which we are looking for solutions and technologies that will allow the consumer to achieve a salon-style make-up experience at home easily achievable by all without the need for professionals. We are looking for long-lasting results for lashes, brows, lips and face, that involve shape, volume and colour. Any kind of solution coming from all types of industries are welcome, be they materials, routines, accessories, products, tools, technologies, portable devices, as well as services and remote assistance.
This Open Call will be an opportunity for start-ups to showcase their technology, and maybe provide the next blockbuster! The previous challenges led to deeper discussions and collaborations with partners.
