New appointment at the Granta Centre guarantees premier conferencing experience

TWI is delighted to announce the appointment of experienced hospitality industry professional Andrew Bell, to manage its newly built Granta Centre conferencing facilities.

Andrew has worked extensively in hotels across America and Europe, with responsibilities ranging from hands-on pool cleaning to implementing the pricing strategy and managing reservations for a 350-bedroom Hilton Resort.

Andrew brought the experience he gained overseas back to England, where he continued to work in hotels – firstly in sales, then in operations and then both at the same time. His experience organising events including weddings, banquets and conferences has provided him with an excellent understanding of what clients need from a venue, and Andrew will use this insight to ensure events at the Granta Centre exceed customers’ expectations.

Having just celebrated its first birthday, the Granta Centre boasts stunning contemporary design, built-in audio-visual facilities and a flexible approach to the delivery and service of refreshments and sustenance, all supported by a dedicated and friendly conference team.

Adjoining TWI's headquarters at Great Abington science hub Granta Park, the Granta Centre is available as a fully independent venue for any business seeking a modern, easily accessible location to hold a conference or corporate event. Being situated in the heart of a science park means it features a hi-tech, business-focused backdrop for any event.

Located just outside Cambridge with plenty of free car parking, the Granta Centre comprises meeting, exhibition and reception spaces able to accommodate groups of up to 250 delegates.
