Voting for this year’s ICE People’s Choice Award has started, giving the public the opportunity to choose their favourite civil engineering project.

The award celebrates and recognises the best civil engineering projects, ones that have made a positive impact on their local area and communities. As ICE celebrates its 200th anniversary, this year’s award includes international projects for the first time.

Discover the 10 nominated civil engineering projects from around the world that have been nominated and vote for the one that impresses you the most. Encourage family, friends and colleagues to get involved so that we can help the public to really understand the benefits of good civil engineering has on their everyday lives.

All voters are automatically entered into a prize draw* to win a Fitbit Charge 2 TM **. Voting closes on 28 September 2018.

The ICE People’s Choice Award 2018 winner will be announced at the ICE Presidential Address on 6 November 2018.

Last year, ICE People’s Choice Award was won by the Penzance Jubilee Pool restoration. Almost 20,000 people across the UK took part.

Go vote for you favourite now.

You can also follow #ICEPeoplesChoice on Twitter.

* The winner of the prize draw will be chosen randomly and notified by Friday 12 October 2018.
