City-based construction company Sindall has contributed to another strong set of full year results by parent company Morgan Sindall.
Sindall wins 50m contracts
Turnover for the group lifted 26 per cent to 655 million to the year ended December 31, with pre-tax profit up 52 per cent at 15.36 million.
2001 has begun with a 406 million order book, up 49 per cent on last year.
Sindall's contribution to last year was 77 million in sales, and since July the company has won a series of contracts worth more than 50 million.
Key projects include a 5.5 million office development in London, and an 800,000 HQ for the RNLI in Ipswich.
The company's conservation division also reports an increase in high profile historic building work throughout the region.
