Snow Fair 2005 will take place on 7 and 8 November 2005

Snow Fair 2005 (previously known as the Chilford Hall Christmas Fair) will take place on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th November at Chilford Hall, just outside Cambridge, near Linton.

The Fair is a biannual charitable event and directs its funds to Addenbrooke's Hospital.

Snow Fair is run by a team of volunteers who devote their spare time to organising an exceptional Christmas shopping experience. This year's event will be its largest yet with a wide variety of exhibitors selling unique, top quality gifts and products.

Snow Fair is grateful for generous corporate sponsorship from Cambridge businesses. This enables us to keep overheads down and to make a real difference to our supported charitable project. This year's Snow Fair will raise funds to construct an extension to the Paediatric Neurology and Child Development Centre at Addenbrooke's. This will also make possible the construction of a garden with disabled access and a wheelchair swing.

Babies, children and young people from all over East Anglia are being treated in the Unit and amenities that were adequate 20 years ago are now overburdened and stretched to capacity. The extension will make a very real difference to the many families who use the unit on a weekly basis.

The Fund and Friends of Addenbrooke's, registered charity no. 1064608, supports the Snow Fair 2005 Committee.
