With airlines among the worst affected by events in America, Go and Ryanair, which both fly out of Stansted, say it is pretty much business as usual.
Stansted airlines 'back to normal'
Barbara Cassani, boss of Go, was not available to comment herself; she was busy out and about promoting new routes to Scotland, Ireland and Bristol.
But a spokesman for the company said operations were back to normal following cancellation of only five flights.
The big difference passengers would notice was the increase in security, the spokesman said, adding that they would get used to it before long.
As to the effect on growth and bookings, Go says it is too early to say.
Meanwhile, rival, Ryanair, has said it expects to maintain its earnings forecast, although bookings, as at Go, dropped off immediately after last Tuesday, but have since recovered.
As reported earlier this week, Continental Airlines is scrapping its transatlantic service from Stansted next month.
