Stone King proud to support Future 20 start-ups

The Cambridge law firm Stone King will be contributing legal guidance to 20 start-ups chosen by Allia.

The 20 innovative start-ups, which will be mentored by a number of firms, including Stone King, have been announced.

The exciting initiative was launched by the Allia Future Business Centre, and is called The Future 20, a no-fee, no-equity incubator programme offering support to 20 businesses all wanting to solve global challenges.

The businesses chosen are: Been London, Appt, Blue Tap, Camnexus, COGZ, Disability Horizons, Greater Change, Maji, Nemi, Ocean Mind, Padlock, Phycofeeds, Playphysio, Seedlink, Supply Change, Sutrue, Tree Climber Publishing, Twipes, Wearth and Work for Good.

The start-ups will receive a bespoke package of strategic support and business advice from industry and professional partners, with Stone King contributing tailored legal guidance in areas including governance, raising investor funds, intellectual property and employment issues.

"We are looking forward to working with these businesses and seeing them develop their exciting ideas," said Tamsin Eastwood, a Partner in Stone King's Corporate & Commercial Team.

Other key partners on board include AgeTech Accelerator, Cambridge Cleantech and the Wellcome Genome Campus.

Start-ups will be supported at one of Allia’s three Future Business Centres in Cambridge, East London or Peterborough, or through its network of partner locations nationally.
