Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire Mind (CPSL Mind) supports those recovering from mental health challenges, promotes positive mental health and tackles mental health-related stigma and discrimination within our communities.

The impressive donation was possible thanks to thousands of Anglia Ruskin students completing the National Student Survey (NSS) and the UK Engagement Survey (UKES).

The NSS allows students to rate the quality of their course and university, while UKES asks students how they’re engaging with their course, their views on the services on offer, and what more could be done to help them reach their full potential.

Anglia Ruskin donated £2 for every survey completed and Anglia Ruskin’s Students’ Union selected charities that are local to each of Anglia Ruskin’s main campuses, with a further donation being made to the Essex-based charity Dementia Adventure.

Julie Walkling, Director of Student Services at Anglia Ruskin, said: “We are delighted that so many of our undergraduate students have once again engaged with these surveys, which help to improve the university experience for future students.

“And we are particularly pleased that our Students’ Union has selected two incredibly worthwhile mental health charities to support.  We hope these donations help CPSL Mind and Dementia Adventure continue with their great work.”
