Tadpole wins order from U.S.


Tadpole has won a major US order to supply its mobile computers.

Michigan-based utility company Consumers Energy, the main subsidiary of multi-billion dollar corporation CMS Energy wants the Tadpole technology for its 1,800 field engineers.

Tadpole's mobile computer technology keeps field workers constantly up-dated with information, especially relating to the geography of their patch.

Bernard Hulme, Tadpole's chief executive, said: 'Today's business environment demands that companies deploy the optimal IT infrastructure across all operations.'

Tadpole is based on Cambridge Science Park.
