Two new GDPR services launched by IT Governance
Despite more than a month having passed since the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force, compliance is still very much an on-going task for many as IT Governance announces two brand new GDPR Services.
The DPO Support Service and GDPR Data Privacy Manager are now available to help organisations continue their compliance journeys. Both products allow users to prepay for the support hours required without committing to a monthly contract.
IT Governance’s DPO Support Service provides extra resources to data protection officers (DPOs) who may find their responsibilities challenging particularly if fulfilling the role part-time or working for a group of organisations. The Data Privacy Manager Service is designed for those who are not required to appoint a data protection officer but are seeking the GDPR advisory support such a role provides.
Alan Calder, Founder and Executive Chairman of IT Governance, said: “It’s paramount organisations understand that despite the GDPR deadline having passed compliance hasn’t ended – it is only just beginning. A Data Privacy Manager and the DPO Support Service can both support any organisations still struggling with the DPO aspects of the GDPR.”
As a leading provider of GDPR expertise and solutions, IT Governance supports organisations of all sizes in tackling their GDPR compliance projects through certified GDPR training courses, books, documentation toolkits, staff awareness training, compliance tools and consultancy.
