Whitehill Pelham assists Kerio Technologies in Cambridge with new sales team member

Whitehill Pelham is delighted to have assisted Kerio Technologies in the appointment of Liz Sherwood as their UK Channel Sales Manager.

Kerio is a rapidly growing, privately held software company combining the agility and excitement of a start-up with the stability and experienced management of a well-established company. Kerio Technologies were identified as an ideal fit for our candidate due to their industry and product offering within unified communications, collaboration and network security solutions.  

The Challenges

This was a pivotal role for Kerio to recruit and initially the business had decided to recruit directly for the position.  However, the direct approach proved unsuccessful in finding the right candidate and with a very limited budget to recruit, Kerio set a tough brief for candidates for Whitehill Pelham to find.  The business could only justify increasing their budget and using Whitehill Pelham if we found a candidate with all the desirable criteria and more for the role.    

Our Campaign

With Kerio having already spent time recruiting directly for this position, speed was of the essence.  There was no time for protracted advertising campaigns or head hunting approached.  Kerio were relying on the strength and depth of Whitehill Pelham’s networks and relationships to provide a shortlist of candidates within days not weeks.

The results

By taking a pro-active approach Whitehill Pelham was able to source the right candidate and manage the whole process of initial briefings through the candidate starting within a period of 4 weeks. This was a great achievement and sincerely welcomed by Kerio who were used to 12 to 18 week recruitment lead times.
