Mr. Lawler was non-executive Chairman of Empower Interactive Group Ltd., a private, highly leveraged, venture capital backed company. As this company was unable to raise its latest round of finance, the board considered that it was no
longer a 'going concern' and took appropriate action, placing the company into Administration in November 2006.
