Council launches budget consultation with local businesses

Cambridgeshire County Council is asking businesses for their views on where it should be investing and saving money, through an online survey as well as face-to-face surveys/interviews.

The council is expected to make further savings over the next year of around £39 million. This is following savings of £42 million last year, and a further £32 million this current financial year. These savings have to be made whilst supporting and investing in services such as adult social care, protecting children, boosting the economy and looking after roads and transport.

It is important to the County Council that decisions made on how its budget is spent are informed by the views and priorities of its many stakeholder groups.

As such, a consultation exercise is being undertaken to listen to the views of stakeholders. The survey below is aimed specifically at businesses.

The council requests that you, as a local business,  complete this survey (which should not take longer than 10 minutes) by Monday 21st October.
