MBA students can help you make the difference

Does your company have a real and tangible market research need? Cambridge Judge Business School is looking for companies to work with MBA students on the Cambridge Venture Project (CVP) during the Michaelmas term (September –December 2012).

This is a great opportunity for companies and organisations to access fresh, objective and rigorous market evaluations at no cost.  The aim of the CVP is to give students an insight into some of the market challenges faced by entrepreneurs, and the chance to apply their learning to a ‘live’ market research problem.

The School welcomes proposals from companies and organisations at all stages of development, as long as there is a real and tangible market research need for the students to address and this is clearly articulated and defined. You may, for example, have developed a new product, treatment or technology and want to research the market opportunities in a specific sector, or to look at which of several potential applications might be the most profitable, review the competitor landscape, or consider the routes to commercialisation.

Interested organizations are asked to complete a proposal form by 7 September 2012: www.jbs.cam.ac.uk/projects

“We’ll be able to let you know by 10 October whether we’ve found you a team,” says Sadia Cuthbert, the MBA Projects Manager at Cambridge Judge Business School.  “They will then work part-time for the next eight weeks in their teams, with the final deliverable to you being a presentation of their findings and recommendations at University of Cambridge Judge Business School during 3-6 December. There is no cost to participating companies, other than any project-related out of pocket expenses.”

If you’d like to discuss any ideas prior to submission, contact Sadia Cuthbert: s.cuthbert@jbs.cam.ac.uk 01223 768387.
