The company, which is the UK’s leading solar energy generator, has deployed Lookout Call’s mobile-based safety system to its 80 remote working staff, ensuring that every lone worker is always accounted for wherever they may be working.
Lightsource Renewable Energy is currently in the process of gaining BS OHSAS 18001 accreditation – an internationally recognised standard used to assess the status of an organisation's occupational health and safety management.
Brian Purcell, HSQE manager at Lightsource, says that Lookout Call will support the company in achieving this accreditation because the safety parameters that Lookout Call provides goes beyond what is expected by the Standard.
