The house has also been the venue for many famous films including several Bond films as well as 'Eyes Wide Shut' and 'Four Weddings and a funeral'.
Cheffins auctioneers are proud to announce this sale which will be auctioning items from the Luton Hoo interiors. The house was transformed for Sir Harold Wernher Bt. (c.1903-1906) by the firm of Mewes & Davis, the architects best known in London for their commission of the Ritz Hotel, reflected in the grandeur of the Edwardian period.
This house was their largest private commission and the sale includes items from the interiors, from marble columns to card tables and indian saddles.
