Development Officer, Juliet Day will be introducing what has been learnt through the Voicing the Garden community history project during the talks and sharing stories from this well-loved garden in the heart of Cambridge. The talks are accompanied by a Voicing the Garden exhibition explaining how Cambridge residents can get involved with the project.
Cambridgeshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Education and Learning, Councillor David Harty said “These fantastic talks are all free and there will be an opportunity at each host library to contribute responses to the project on special postcards.”
Juliet Day, Development Officer for Cambridge University Botanic Garden said “Voicing the Garden seeks to collect, celebrate and share the stories of the people behind the plants — the people who have made, grown up in or simply enjoyed the Garden.”
