The collection contains items from Tony Lewis's undergraduate days at Christ’s College, Cambridge as well as domestic and international tour blazers and jumpers.
One of the highlights of the collection will be the University cricket club Fenner’s pavilion clock, removed from the pavilion during demolition in 1972.
Tony Lewis writes ‘As I recall, the pendulum of the old Munsey clock soothingly charmed the hours away inside the University cricket pavilion at Fenner’s, and yet, towards the close of play, became something of a time-bomb, when undergraduate batsmen, padded up, praying that no falling Cambridge wicket would send them to the crease to fight off a first class attack until the close at 6.30pm.’
