The shop, based in Littleport , was originally founded by JH Adams and Sons over 100 years ago and is a time capsule containing rarely seen archive objects, photographs, letters and ledgers that document the everyday lives of a traditional Fenland community for over a century.
Cambridge Filmworks Director Adam Giles said: "Our documentary film has helped bring back to life a bygone era in Fenland life. Turning the old shop into a community heritage centre will now preserve its memories for future generations to enjoy."
