Tier 2 Consulting, the region’s leading web applications consultancy, has announced a unique partnership with the University of Hertfordshire as it signs up as an official module sponsor of the School of Computer Science.
As the industry sponsor of the Computer Science Development Exercise, Tier 2 Consulting will provide a cash prize to the team of students who earn the highest mark in the course module which gives the students hands on experience of working as a team on a complete systems development project.
Mark Jenkin, Associate Dean for International & Enterprise in the School of Computer Science, at the University of Hertfordshire, comments: “The Computer Science Development Exercise is a popular module with students as it’s one of the first opportunities they have to experience a real life development project. They will work as a team to produce a fully functioning software package from start to finish, dealing with real life issues and problems that occur.
