Dragonmobility features on the Tech Show - on Iranian TV

Dragonmobility, the Cambridge-based designer and manufacturer of innovative powerchairs for disabled but active users has again been featured on the TV - this time by the Iranian TV station Manoto 1 on their latest Tech Show.

Dragonmobility, one of Axiom-e's clients, has again been recognised for its innovative powerchairs (which it designs and builds) and for the social impact that it generates - this time by the Iranian TV station Manoto 1.

An article on their latest Tech Show highlighted the history of Dragonmobility, the innovative thinking behind the electronic and mechanical designs and the benefits for users. You don't need to understand Farsi to appreciate what the feature is about! (You can see the feature from about 5:55 into the programme.)

As well as interviews with two of the company's directors, the programme highlights a local user, Maxwell, who is seen and interviewed at his school and on a bike trail. Maxwell clearly demonstrates the capabilities of the customised elevating Dragon powerchair that he uses and which enables him to have a full life.

It's great to see our client being acknowledged by people around the world in addition to their international user community.

Last year the company was short-listed for the prestigious C N Hilton Humanitarian Prize and is currently working on designs to benefit clients from four continents.

The company was featured on the BBC earlier in the year in the feature "Children gain independence with powered wheelchairs".
