Audio Analytic wins prestigious IET Innovation Award for Consumer Electronics

Cambridge company Audio Analytic has been recognised for its unique sound sensing technology.

 

Intelligent sound sensing leader Audio Analytic (www.audioanalytic.com ) today announced that it has won the prestigious Consumer Electronics Technology award at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Innovation Awards 2014. The IET awards judged over 400 applicants from 22 countries in 16 award categories, in order to recognise the best innovations in engineering, science and technology. Winners were announced yesterday (19 November 2014).

Audio Analytic provides the most intelligent sound sensing, making it simple to monitor the connected home and beyond. It’s proven, easy to integrate technology increases awareness, security and delivers peace of mind to consumers and businesses.

Built on a unique understanding, and database, of the home acoustic environment, Audio Analytic’s sensing technology makes it simple to monitor sounds, such as smoke alarms, breaking glass, baby cries or car alarms within the connected home, business and high security scenarios. The company has since expanded into the consumer market and will be announcing major partnerships at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January 2015, bringing the technology into homes for the first time.
