New changes to the R&D and Patent Box tax reliefs

John Moore of Kingly Brookes draws attention to the changes made by the Chancellor in his Autumn Statement yesterday (Weds) to the R&D tax relief schemes. He also examines the often reported demise of the Patent Box regime.

 

The Autumn Statement introduced some welcome changes to the rates of R&D tax relief, but also contained a potentially large restriction for certain types of companies.
