The CRedit360 system was tested independently by GRI analysts, who have confirmed that CRedit360’s software uses GRI’s G4 content accurately and in an approved format for each language. G4 is the latest set of standards from GRI, which guide organisations in preparing and producing their sustainability reports. Though not the intention of the previous G3 / G3.1 standards, organisations often felt that more indicators disclosed made a better report. This has been addressed in G4 with a move to focus on materiality, identifying what is critical to for the organisation to manage and change, and focussing reporting on these topics. An organisation can choose to produce a 'core' report, or a more extensive 'comprehensive' report, depending on the breadth of disclosures it makes on its material topics. With G4, GRI continues to provide sound and standardised guidance for sustainability reports, whilst improving the focus of reporting companies.
