CRedit360 announced that it is now certified for use of GRI G4 content in five languages, adding French, Spanish and Brazilian-Portuguese to English and German.
CRedit360 is first software solution to offer GRI G4 content in multiple languages
CRedit360 is the first software provider to offer GRI content in five languages after the accuracy of the relevant GRI content has been certified by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) (www.globalreporting.org). A long-established participant of the GRI Certified Software and Tools programme and already having GRI-certification for content in English and German, CRedit360's award-winning sustainability software solution is now certified for use of the GRI G4 content in French, Spanish, and Brazilian-Portuguese. With this step, CRedit360 meets the growing demand for sustainability software solutions among businesses in Europe and the Americas.
"Our recent G4 certification in five global languages shows our engagement to help companies around the world to meet the GRI's robust reporting standards and to improve their sustainability performance," says Richard Kirby, Product Director, CRedit360. "We deliver first-class solutions to our customers regardless of the language in which they use our software. We give our clients peace of mind that they can trust our system to meet their data management needs as they gear up for G4 reporting."
The CRedit360 system was tested independently by GRI analysts, who have confirmed that CRedit360’s software uses GRI’s G4 content accurately and in an approved format for each language. In addition to being among the few software solutions on the market to have received G4 certification for using its content in multiple languages, the system offers a wide range of standards and tools for managing corporate sustainability ratings.
G4 is the latest set of standards from GRI, which guide organisations in preparing and producing their sustainability reports. Though not the intention of the previous G3 / G3.1 standards, organisations often felt that more indicators disclosed made a better report. This has been addressed in G4 with a move to focus on materiality, identifying what is critical to for the organisation to manage and change, and focussing reporting on these topics. An organisation can choose to produce a 'core' report, or a more extensive 'comprehensive' report, depending on the breadth of disclosures it makes on its material topics. With G4, GRI continues to provide sound and standardised guidance for sustainability reports, whilst improving the focus of reporting companies.
Using the CRedit360 software solution, companies can collect relevant information for GRI reporting from multiple stakeholders and benefit from the efficiency offered by integrating the GRI reporting framework within their existing enterprise data management system.
“We are happy to see that organizations from all over the world are disclosing their sustainability information in line with the GRI G4 Guidelines. Software that helps collect data for these reports in so many languages is vitally important and we congratulate CRedit360 for making this available to the public,” says GRI Director Services Asthildur Hjaltadottir.
