The Masters will be a part-time programme running over two years, with three residential blocks in Cambridge. 25 places will be available per year.
The Masters will provide an overview and understanding of social innovation and approaches to address social, cultural, economic, and environmental challenges and opportunities. It will include workshops, case studies and practitioners discussing key concepts, frameworks and emerging ideas that enable social innovation in the public, private and non-governmental sectors in the UK and internationally.
The Masters programme will be aimed primarily at middle and senior level leaders in NGOs, public bodies and the private sector. Students on the course will engage with individuals and organisations working specifically to develop novel solutions to difficult problems of poverty and inequality in both rich and poor countries.
The Masters will consist of four modules and a dissertation. The modules are:
- Social change, innovation and ventures in theory and practice
- Managing social innovation
- The social innovation project
- Researching social innovation
