Previewed in the UK at the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival (ShAFF) and in France at the Destinations Nature Salon, users and partners were delighted by the new layout and immediately inspired by the fresh look and feel of ViewRanger 6 to search for new routes, browsing the massive library of guides that are now more obviously accessible.
The new discovery tab – an area dedicated to discovering information-rich trail guides worldwide – makes it quick to filter, browse and select routes from the extensive, high quality library available from over 500 tourism and outdoor guide publishing brands.

The app will be updated automatically for existing ViewRanger customers who have their phones set to do automatic app updates, otherwise users should update manually in their device's app store. Any information stored on the app such as purchased maps, downloaded routes and tracks will not be affected by the changes.
