Independent Cambridge: artists unite for Open Studios

Once again, July in Cambridge will be an art lovers playground, as artists and makers around the city and beyond open their doors for Open Studios, says Anne Beamish of Independent Cambridge.

Anne writes:

Over at Burwash Manor, they are making things easy for us all with a whole host of local artists under one (canvas) roof, in the annual Artists’ Marquee. This year, 19 local artists, from jewellers to ceramicists and painters to potters, will be exhibiting their work over the course of the four weekends throughout the month and don’t forget, Burwash also has 15 independent shops, a day spa, tearooms, farm walks and - my favourite - llamas to enjoy too!

Cambridge Open Studios is a flourishing community of over 470 artists, craftspeople and designer-makers working throughout Cambridgeshire. Visit the website to see what's on offer from the many artists who open their studios to the public over four weekends in July.
