cr360 launches new vision to transform sustainability analysis

Leading sustainability software company cr360 - formerly CRedit360 - today launched its new vision: ‘Responsibility beyond software’, accompanied by a vibrant new brand.

The vision captures the company’s commitment to helping customers gain an ever deeper level of sustainability analysis, while integrating sharp, data-driven insights into core business decision-making and mainstream corporate culture. As part of the rebrand, the cr360 website has been completely transformed, with information now available in five major languages.

The fresh, modern look better represents the breadth of the company’s activities and the modern, user-friendly nature of the product. As a recognised leader in both Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and sustainability software, some 200 of the world’s largest companies use cr360’s system to deliver a 360° outlook on critical sustainability challenges. In practice, this means businesses can manage vital data across the full spectrum of EHS, sustainability and supply chain – using one single, integrated platform.

“We want to help corporate responsibility teams make sustainability ‘business as usual’,” explains cr360’s Product Director, Richard Kirby. “This means being more than just a technology company. It’s about partnering with our customers on a collaborative journey. By developing intelligent analytics tools, we can help companies integrate sustainability into their everyday practices, spot trends quickly – and importantly, take action.”

cr360 is increasingly focussing on solving tough sustainability challenges with clever statistical analysis, or ‘predictive analytics’ for sustainability and EHS data. It aims to help companies predict the trend they should expect to see, compare this with actual data and identify any anomalies. This is particularly relevant for energy forecasting, for example.

“We aim to be the human face of sustainability software,” says Kirby. “Yes, we can do the clever technical stuff, but we are approachable and responsive partners who understand our customers’ challenges. And like our customers, we too are on a long-term journey.”

Having initially formed in 2002 to help businesses capture the data they needed for annual sustainability reports, cr360 has grown rapidly by helping businesses to gather a greater breadth and depth of data in a coherent, automated and centralised way. With a strong understanding of sustainability challenges, cr360 consistently increases its presence in the EHS and supply chain markets. According to a new Verdantix report, “the cr360 platform is strongly positioned to meet the growing demand among manufacturing and consumer brand firms to integrate EH&S and sustainability”, having strong capabilities in data quality, data validation and performance analysis.

“We are developing creative solutions that give our customers the clarity, visibility and insights they need to deliver increased efficiency, action on sustainability and ultimately, profitability,” concludes Kirby. “Working in partnership with our customers, we intend to deliver the next generation of tools they need to succeed.”

With offices in both the UK and the US, cr360 grew from 60 employees in 2014 to more than 150 in 2015. It has been listed in the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 for being one of the fastest growing technology companies in the UK, having tripled its sales in three years. Earlier this year, it was named Top Product of the Year in the Environmental Leader Product & Project awards and has been awarded a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise. The company is one of four gold-accredited CDP software partners worldwide, and is also a GRI-accredited software provider.
