Countdown to the Immune Army at Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition

The Babraham Institute's Immune Army and team of volunteers land at the Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition 2015 in London next week.

Babraham Institute scientists are showcasing their immunology research through their exciting exhibit called ‘Weapons of Microscopic Destruction’. The exhibit explores the army of specialist cells which make up your immune system, how they keep you safe from invaders such as bacteria and viruses and how your immune system changes as you age.

For a flavour of what's on offer at the exhibition, visit the immune army website and watch the video. The website presents the immune system army and shows how research at the Babraham Institute is generating knowledge leading to potential new therapies and strategies to boost the declining immune system in the elderly.

The Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition takes places from Tuesday 30th June to Sunday 5th July at the Royal Society, 6-9 Carlton House Terrace, London, SW1Y 5AG. The event is free and open to the public.

Further information can be found on the Royal Society website.
