Participants are being sought for the annual Campod corporate golf day on 16 June, a charity event sponsored by Granta Park.

Taking place at Girton Golf Club, the event brings together members of the local scientific community and other business sectors to raise money for Campod (the Cambridge Fund for the Prevention of Disease). It will be a Stableford competition for teams of four and will include a buffet lunch, fun competitions a charity raffle and prizes.

Says the event’s organiser Jane Rich : “We are delighted with the support that the science and business communities of Cambridge have given this event over the years , which Granta Park is now supporting for the third year running. Last year we raised more than £3000 and we hope to exceed that this year.”

Adds Roz Bird, Marketing and Asset Manager at Granta Park: “Networking and collaboration - both business and social - is at the heart of what we do at Granta Park, so we are delighted to extend it to this event and at the same time help such a worthwhile cause.”
