Strem Chemicals, Inc, a manufacturer of specialty chemicals for research and development announced that it has released its new Catalogue of Chemicals. Strem UK, a family run business based in Cambridge, has been supplying products in the UK for 16 years.
Strem Chemicals releases new catalogue of chemicals for research
The catalogue contains many new products including metal catalysts and ligands , used by pharmaceutical researchers, new RAFT agents, used in the synthesis of polymers and chemical vapor deposition and atomic layer deposition precursors used for microelectronic applications. More metal-based nanomaterials, including magnetic fluids, have been added as well as carbon nanodiscs, nanocones and graphene nanofibers.
The line of non-chemical products has been expanded with a broader range of cylinders for ALD/CVD applications. A filtration vial for analytical sample preparation, especially useful in catalytic applications, was also added.

The new catalogue no longer features the section “Metal Catalysts for Organic Synthesis” (the “blue pages”) but these can be viewed and downloaded from the web site, where updated technical notes and references will be more current than in print.
