Last chance to register for Investors' Forum

Time is running out to register for Cambridge Enterprise's second Investors' Forum on Wednesday 16th November 2005.

The half-day event, sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, will be held at New Hall, Cambridge, showcasing investment opportunities from University of Cambridge originated companies.

Ten companies representing a wide range of technologies will make short presentations on their funding opportunities to an assembled audience of potential investors. The companies will be seeking varying stages of funding from early stage seed funding and upwards, and will cover such areas as life sciences, biomaterials, energy storage, and communications. Networking sessions allow the potential investors to meet the founders and find out more about the technology and business proposition.

Dr Peter Luebcke, Business Creation Manager, Cambridge Enterprise said: 'The event is an excellent opportunity for several reasons; our start-ups engage with serious investors hopefully leading to investment, the University of Cambridge showcases some of its entrepreneurial creativity and finally it succeeds very well as a networking event for all concerned.'

The Forum will be of interest to Venture Capitalists, Angels, Corporate Venture Funds and Investment Banks.

Registration for the event closes on Friday 4th November.
