Cellfactors raises 1.125 million

Cellfactors, the bone and brain cell company partly owned by MMI, has raised 1.

125 million towards its 3.5 million target.

A private individual has put in the 1 million, with the remaining 125,000 coming from the Cellfactors board of directors.

The deal values Cellfactors at 4.64 million, and the money is needed to further work on commercialising Skeletex and NeuCell, products being used to grow bone and brain cells in the laboratory for use in dentistry and with the aim of curing diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
