Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, the global professional services organisation, has announced the launch of the new brand name 'Deloitte'.
Deloitte launches new brand name
The change means that the firms known in various national and global markets as Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Deloitte & Touche, and Deloitte Consulting, will now be known as the brand 'Deloitte', although they will retain their local legal names.
The name change comes as Deloitte announces a 20.8 per cent increase in global annual revenues, with combined worldwide revenues from its member firms now totaling US$15.1 billion. This is the firm's tenth consecutive year of annual growth globally.
In July, the UK firm announced that revenues for the year ended 31 May 2003 increased by 33 per cent to 1,228m.
Andy Swarbrick, office senior partner at Deloitte in Cambridge, said: 'Our clients' are facing more complex business challenges than ever before. As the firm with the broadest and deepest range of skills, we are well placed to help them meet these challenges head on.'
