Red Gate Software, based in the St. John's Innovation Centre, entered The Sunday Times 'Best Small Companies to work for' awards for the first time this year and was delighted to make it into the top 10.
Red Gate triumphs in 'Best Companies' awards
Red Gate was the only software company in the top 10, showing that Cambridge has the best places to work for highly skilled IT professionals. Neil Davidson, Joint CEO commented: "This is a huge achievement that reflects how Red Gate employees feel about working here. We also achieved a rare 3 star accreditation from Best Companies. This is based on an absolute grading system and only 42 companies in the UK qualified for the top grade."
The Best Companies awards are based on the feedback from a 70 question survey, which measures employee engagement across a range of factors. Company benefits and working environment are also assessed but the results are heavily weighted towards employee satisfaction.
