Last chance to book Cambridge Awards Week event places

There are still a few places left on a number of Cambridge Awards Week events for anyone who is still to book.

From 17.30- 19.30hrs on Monday 19 March Trade Winds, Cambridge Cleantech’s inaugural Wind Energy Special Interest Group event, takes place. This free event is a briefing on wind energy markets and opportunities, taking place at Eversheds, Kett House, Station Road, Cambridge. Email alison.dodd@cambridgecleantech.org.uk to book.

On Wednesday 21 March at 10am is Social Business, a day of presentations and demonstrations on social business for senior managers from social media for business experts Social Bear, followed by a networking lunch. 1 Riverside, Granta Park www.socialbear.co.uk. The event is free.

On Thursday 22 and Friday 23 March is a two-day event from Cambridge Network that offers delegates an individually crafted programme of meetings with leading University of Cambridge researchers and new technology companies. Also on Thursday 22 March Cambridge Wireless is hosting ‘Improving the User Experience in the next decade’ along with Philips Research and Granta Park. Focussing on emerging lifestyle scenarios and the methodologies by which new technologies can match their users' needs and expectations to provide an intuitive and satisfying user experience. One Nucleus is hosting two free events on Friday 23 March. At 9.30am there is the chance to network and hear more about Nuesentis, Pfizer’s new research unit. With ‘Partnering with Neusentis, an entrepreneurial Pfizer research unit at the forefront of the new pharma R&D model’ at 1 Riverside, Granta Park. The morning will finish with a networking lunch between 12:00-13:00. This will be followed by ‘Smart Working or Engineered Serendipity? Knowledge Management in practice’ a two-hour event by RiverRhee Consulting for anyone in business with a genuine interest in improving the way they do their work and how interacting with others can help them. On 23 March Camyoga, Cambridge’s only dedicated yoga centre, is launching corporate de-stress days with free introductory workshops for local companies.The de-stress days are for both management and team members and aim to bring about positive change in both individual well-being and interactions with others.
