D&A Creative designs Annual Report for the University of Cambridge

Earlier this year D&A Creative were asked by the University of Cambridge to work on the design and print of their annual report.

The report consists of an introduction from the Vice Chancellor, a timeline of some of the events from the academic year and some important statistics from the University, alongside the report itself. At over 100 pages, the document is an extremely important piece for the University and accuracy was essential, as was the ability to act quickly, as some of the key figures were not confirmed until right before the print deadline.

The design of the report was based around the front cover image, which this year was a traditional picture focusing on the iconic shield of the University logo, but with an abstract feel due to the angle and lighting.

The printed reports were prefect bound, and used an uncoated stock and a slightly thicker cover compared to the inside stock, which helped to reinforce the importance of the document.

It was an honour for the team at D&A to work with such an historic institution and the report was very well received. The full report can be viewed at http://www.cam.ac.uk/annual-report
