Time to take up a challenge for your local hospice charity!

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) is calling upon the people of Cambridgeshire to take on a challenge in 2016 and make a difference to the lives of local life-threatened children and young people at the same time.

 

EACH is holding a Challenge Event Information Evening on Thursday 11th February starting at 6pm, at Milton Hospice,  Church Lane,  Milton, Cambridge. The evening will be a chance to for attendees to find out about the full range of challenges available, ask questions about how they can sign up and ways to raise valuable funds.

There are plenty of challenge events available, both abroad and closer to home and there’s something to suit all budgets and levels of fitness.

Sophie Baker, EACH Cambridgeshire Assistant Fundraiser, said: “Whether you're into cycling, running, walking or you’re looking for more of a adrenaline hit like a skydive – we’ve got the challenge for you! Our information evening is an opportunity to learn more about the thrills and rewards of  undertaking one of our amazing adrenaline-busting challenges whilst raising funds for your local hospice.  There’s a range of challenges available to suit a range abilities and budgets - this will be your chance to find out details, ask questions and potentially sign up if you think one of them is for you.

“If you do sign up you’ll be given a full fundraising pack with lots of great ideas on how to raise your funds, and we’ll offer support in whatever way we can. Please come along to find out more and you could potentially be taking on the challenge of a lifetime!”

EACH a provides care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions and supports their families across East Anglia. For both families accessing care, and those who have been bereaved, EACH is a lifeline at an unimaginably difficult time.

The challenge event evening will be an opportunity to talk through all challenges coming up in 2016, giving attendees the chance to ask questions and sign up if they wish.
