LifeWorks! - all change at the Cambridge Science Centre

Summer's nearly here, which means a new exhibition at the Cambridge Science Centre on Jesus Lane.

LifeWorks! opens on Tuesday 5th July and will give you the chance to explore the wonder of life through hands-on science. With its fun, playful exhibits you can adventure into your own body, puzzle your way through DNA, explore a myriad of life forms and discover how our planet helps them survive.

LifeWorks! is proudly supported by the Centre’s Executive Council member AstraZeneca and its biologics arm, MedImmune .

Don't forget to enjoy the COSMIC exhibition before 22nd June, when it will change over ready to open LifeWorks! on 5th July

Before that, the Centre has a couple of other fascinating events for your diary:

Lates: The Enlightened Tipple
You’re invited to mix, mingle and be merry on Thursday 16th June 2016 at Cambridge Science Centre’s late event, where the team from Cambridge Gin Lab and 2648 will reveal some of the secrets behind flavour creation in spirits and cocktails – as well as bust a few myths of the world of imbibing. Think molecular mixology, cool bar tricks and hands-on demos! Tickets are available via Eventbrite or pop into Cambridge Science Centre and avoid the booking fee.

Tim Peake descends
British ESA astronaut, Tim Peake will be returning from the International Space Station on Saturday 18th June 2016.

Join Cambridge Science Centre for a landing party like no other, where there will be an array of fun activities and shows to celebrate Tim's mission. Science communicator and the Centre’s Tim Peake enthusiast, Mandy Curtis, will talk through his return to Earth via the large screen in the centre.

Normal admission prices will apply.
